A.J. has delivered his completed Eagle Scout Project to the 4H park. He has completed all the paperwork and his formal Board of Review is scheduled for Sunday, June 28th. We should be able to schedule another Court of Honor and party for this summer. A.J. finished his sophomore in high school this year and played on the undefeated junior varsity football team before being called up to the varsity team for the playoffs.

August 2009 - AJ went to Camp Philmont in New Mexico to participate in a Boy Scout Trek covering 73 miles over a 10 day period. While on the trail no electronic devices were permitted - no i-pods, no cell phones, no Blackberry! The group of scouts traveled to New Mexico from Chicago by train as a group. This is one of those trip of a lifetime experiences that he will look back on for the rest of his life.
Sporting a new haircut, AJ did not want to delay his departure for photos!
Not to be left out - notice Kelsi just over AJ's left shoulder, making sure she got in the picture too!
And they made it! Here's the return after 73 miles on foot on the trail.
A busy couple of days: AJ earned his Eagle on Sunday, August 9, 2009 and then passed his Drivers test on Monday, August 10, 2009 - thanks to the "cash for clunkers" program, AJ was able to take his test in his mother's brand new Honda Civic!

On Tuesday, May 25, 2010 A.J. and the rest of the Queen Anne's High School Lions lacrosse team won the Maryland state lacrosse championship. The team scored the winning goal with a mere 28 seconds left on the clock.
