| Step one - get Aren to jump into the water from the bank. |
| Step two - get him so excited to get the toy that he'll jump in, not just bark at it. |
| Step three - a little competition never hurts |
| Step six - when someone steals your Wubba, you go steal their duck. |

| Step five - Got it! Of course I missed him actually going in! |
| Finally on the next dive- Swim to shore with the prize so we can quickly do it again. |
| Of course, after I put the camera away, Aren proceeded to jump off the dock four or five times, with no hesitation. He did some nice size jumps too. But there will be more practices and competitions which will give me the opportunity to get some pictures of him mid-air. We'll be starting to work on his Novice Dock Dogs title at the end of August. |
