Aren's Dock Dogs practice page
No, Whippets will NOT melt if they get
wet - in spite of what they tell you!

Aren has progressed so far in his training, I am very pleased and expect
further improvement with more practice and experience.  He is entered
in his first competition on August 22, 2009.
He still has a tendency to hesitate or
even completely stop before
jumping, but I think this is just a
stage in his training
Getting better - notice Pat can
stand farther back on the dock
and send him off the end now.
I didn't get as much practice time as I would have liked, but we were at a
lure coursing trial in New Jersey all day and therefore were a bit later than I
would have liked in arriving at practice.  Happily, Aren was requiring less
and less encouragement to jump each turn they had on the dock.
