Update from Lindsey 8/23/07:
Since we got Casey, we bought a new house, and had a little boy
(now 20 months old) named Addison. We are amazed at how
wonderful and motherly she has been with Addison. She's been great
with him while he learns how to touch and treat dogs. Some of his
hardest laughter has been because of her and her antics. Our other
dog, Ozzy (a male min pin), is another story though. He definitely has
a dominance issue. Ozzy has rubbed off on Casey though, and she is
tough (she actually barks quite a bit for a whippet from what we've
been told), but very sweet. Both dogs go on long walks a couple of
times a week with Michael (along with a few good sprints), but she's
pretty much a homebody. She's about 24-25 lbs now. One of her
favorite things to do is burrow under the covers on our bed and bake
underneath them all (she'll do this all day long). We call her our heat
seeking missile (great for our feet on those cold winter nights). :)
