He lives with Dave & Andrea Chaisson in Maryland
At the age of 5-1/2 at his regular annual
checkup, Indi's general practice vet
diagnosed him with a Grade 4 (out of 6)
heart murmur and put him on Enalipril
(a blood pressure medicine to reduce
the pressure on his heart).  Andrea
didn't catch all the technical stuff the vet
told them, but she'll find out more at the
next appointment.

Indi goes back to the vet in 6 weeks for
another checkup and Andrea is looking
into getting him an echo-cardiogram to
find out exactly what's going on.

Of course, we hope that this is just the
same sort of murmur that Indi's
Grandfather Parker had since Parker
lived to be over 16 years old and never
had to have his activity restricted.
