Kate doesn't seem to be very photogenic, seems to be real hard to capture her personality on film. The above picture was taken May 1, 2007, just as it was getting too dark to take pictures. |

If the calendar publishers don't pick this picture for the cover of the
Whippet calendar then they just don't know what they're doing!
Don't you agree? - I was right!! Pet Prints put Kate on the cover of
the 2010 Whippet Calendar!!
Finally got some pictures that really show just who Kate is! She
definitely as an agenda all her own, and she's not one for making
compromises.
Kate was Pat's pick puppy and lived with her at Chesara. She's
easy to live with but didn't live up to her early promise as a show
dog. While Pat and I worked with her to get her interested in
chasing the plastic bag we weren't able to hold her interest. She
showed flashes of interest, but just seemed to have an attention
span that's a little to short for any sort of sustained activity, so she
has gone to live with the Fish family outside of Baltimore where
she is settling in quite nicely.
Kate is about 20 inches tall and weighs about 30 pounds.
