| Kira was my first "show" puppy. I co-owned her with Pat Taylor (Chesara Whippets) and I've made many a training mistake on Kira. In spite of that, she has become quite the versatile Whippet. She is going to be showing in traditional obedience in the spring of 2008. She's finished her Rally Novice title and will be running in the veterans stake at the occasional lure coursing trial. She has been doing some tracking training and has shown quite a talent for that too. She is my foundation bitch, the mother of my first two litters and has given me many many hours of joy. At 19 inches tall, she weighs in at about 24 pounds In April of 2007 Kira got to come out of "retirement" and lure course in the Veterans stake. In her first trial she won the stake giving her a qualifying first placement towards her Veterans Field Championship title and 8 points of the 75 needed. |
