| Kira was my first "show" puppy. I co-owned her with Pat Taylor (Chesara Whippets) and I've made many a training mistake on Kira. In spite of that, she has become quite the versatile Whippet. She has shown in traditional obedience and earned her final CD leg on 11/21/08. She finished her Rally Excellent title on 4/26/09. She attends obedience classes training for Open and will be running in the veterans stake at the occasional lure coursing trial. She has been doing some tracking training and has shown quite a talent for that too. In April of 2007 Kira got to come out of "retirement" and lure course in the Veterans stake. She has earned her ASFA Veterans Field Championship title and now just gets to run for fun. She is my foundation bitch, the mother of my first two litters and has given me many many hours of joy. At 19 inches tall, she weighs in at about 24 pounds. |
