Here's Spyder & me
with the CGC evaluator
when he passed the
CGC test on May 1, 2012
Here's Spyder at one year old.  He's a very sweet boy and gets along well
with other dogs, from my Greyhound to my friend's Pommeranian.  We have
been through a beginner obedience class and the Canine Good Citizen
class, and he's ready to go on to do Rally obedience, Agility or traditional
obedience, or he'd be quite happy to just be lazy and keep the couch warm.

Both of his parents have had a good deal of health testing and the testing I
have done on him so far has all been normal.  I just did his cardiac
auscultation on April 27, 2012 so it's not yet posted on the OFA web site as
of 5/4/2012.

He does have an undescended testicle and he will need to be neutered.  I
had held on to him in the hopes that the testicle would make it's way down,
but it never did.  I did have a home lined up for him last December and I
agreed to keep him until spring when they could get their fencing up at their
new house.  However, due to an unexpected job loss they cannot add
Spyder to their family after all.
Here's some puppy pictures of Spyder at a puppy playdate at his
litter sister Leena's house when they were all still babies.
He's always known how to get a cuddle
when he wants - this is Leena's mom
who couldn't resist picking him up and
giving him a hug.
