My local kennel club had Rally run-throughs last night (the 25th) and I decided to take Ruby and give her a try to see where we stood & to give us a road map to our training heading towards the Greyhound National at the end of September. 

Turns out there were only two of us that showed up for it, plus the "judge."  What we got was more like a private training session than a run-through which was WONDERFUL for us.  Neet thing is that it looked like we might have actually gotten a qualifying score even at this point.  That's VERY encouraging considering we only have about 6 weeks left to train. 

I also think that Kira is feeling a bit neglected since I keep going out to class with other dogs & she keeps getting left at home.   Maybe working with the other dogs will indirectly help with her training too!
