Loaded everyone back up in the van early in the morning,  said our goodbyes to Connie and headed back to the show grounds for one more day of showing in conformation.  The entry was about the same as it was the day before, and I certainly didn't expect anything after being left in the dust the previous two days.  Imagine my delight when we ended up in Second place in the Open class over several other dogs.  The dog that finished First ended up going Winners so that's not too bad.  I'll have to watch for this judge and see about showing to him again with a smaller entry.

After we finished showing we headed back to the coursing field where we visited with our friends and purchased new winter coats for Parker & Avery and ordered one for Marseille.  Then we hit the road headed south.  My, my, my it's a long way from upstate New York to Richmond, Virginia!!! 

More big thanks to Jennifer & David Gough for putting me up overnight & not getting mad at me for arriving SO late.  I'll know better next time.
