After being back at work for only three days, we were off again.  This time only as far as Dewey Beach, Delaware for the big Greyhound gathering.  This year I had planned for the dogs to spend their days in the van as the temperatures are always cool by the first part of October.  Boy did we get thrown for a loop!  Not only was it not cool, it was downright hot!  I ended up draping the van with all my sun screens and space blankets but managed to keep everybody  comfortable.  Then after the last walk of the night everyone came in to spend the night with me in the hotel room each night with the air conditioning set on 60!   I was still too hot with all those Whippet bodies sleeping on top of me.

As usual, I got to see all the folks that I only get to see at Dewey, plus a few that I do get to see at other times as well.  I did more shopping this year than I've been able to do in quite a few years and had one of the most enjoyable vacations that I've had in quite a few years.
