This weekend was the Jersey Rag Racer's regular back to back NOTRA race meet weekend, so I left Ruby with Evelyn Jones (the president of SHOT) so that she could be entered for a second day of lure coursing, and the Whippets all got to go racing.

I had Kira, Aren, Marseille and Avery entered.  It was Avery's second NOTRA meet and this time she managed to come out of the box facing the lure instead of backwards.   So she finished up much higher in the rankings and even managed to pick up 10 OTR points.  That was nice.  Marseille was again the Turtle now that Avery has learned about the starting box.

After the meet I got to run Derby with Kira as sort of a schooling race to see if he'd run clean and he did.  So he's ready to enter now.  Yea!  Ready to rock and roll on the race track.

By the time I got home I was completely exhausted.  I ended up going to bed at about 8:30, but it felt like midnight.
