I was looking forward to this weekend with excitement and fear!  My first attempt at being the Field Trial Secretary for a lure coursing trial.  Thankfully I had some very willing and experienced helpers so we got through it with a minimum of confusion.   Then the next challenge was getting all the paperwork together to submit to ASFA.  That took a lot longer than I expected, but it got done and mailed off. 

I did make one really correct decision, though.  I'd decided to only run Kira, and that really was one dog too many, but I managed.  I suspect that if I volunteer to do this trial again next year, I'll run no more than one dog, and maybe not even that.
