Avery surprised me by almost keeping up with Derby in the two race meets, she was matching him point for point in almost every program, and in the 4th program of the NOTRA meet they came across the finish line so close to each other that I couldn't tell which one of them was in front.  She finished 3rd overall out of the 9 dogs that completed all three days of events.
