A sad, sad day.  Marco died on the operating table today.  It was a planned surgery to extract a broken tooth that had been bothering him.  Nothing unusual or difficult about it, or so we thought.  Marco lived with David & Jennifer Geogh near Richmond, Virginia.  They just lost Marco's father last December, and Marco was only 19 months old.   (Marco's mother, Sunny, is from the Bird litter)  David is going to get a written report from the vet next week so we will understand better what happened.

We hear repeatedly about sighthounds and anesthesia and we wonder if this is what happened to Marco, or if there was some hidden problem that we didn't know about.
