Another great weekend out with the dogs!  I went to the PHAST all breed NOTRA race meets this weekend.  I was worried about Zuli's toe swelling up again, but I wrapped it and it held up all three programs both days and it wasn't even tender to the touch.  YEA!!!

I had planned to run Zuli, Ruby & three Whippets each day, but on Saturday they were just a few Whippets short of making an extra set of points, so I put in all my extras & was like a crazy lady the first program!  I just can't run 7 dogs at a race meet by myself!  Even running 5 dogs was a bit more than I wanted to deal with.  Yes, there are advantages to going to the "Other breed" NOTRA meets, when I only have two dogs to get ready.

The Whippets all collected OTR points both days, Ruby was the Turtle on Saturday and I pulled her on Sunday as she was looking just a little off following her collision at the line the weekend before.

Zuli collected her 10th point towards her ORCh on Saturday and Jean Pennie brought an extra dog on Sunday to make more points, and Zuli collected the final two points for her Oval Racer Champion title!  YEA!  How cool is that!  I should have done it when she was much younger, but at least we got it done now.  The weather was good, the company was the best and the dogs all finished the day without injury - who could ask for anything more!
