Late ring time today, so I didn't have to leave in the middle of the night to get to the Rally trial today.  Left an extra 1/2 hour in case of traffic problems since I did have to drive past two shopping malls and it is Black Friday!  However, I sailed right by both of them with no problem, I guess everyone was already inside.

Arrived at the trial site in plenty of time & found a place to set up a crate and a chair. I had no more brought in my crate than here comes Charlene Stone asking me to not let Sioux see me before he went in the ring.  OK, I can do that, I think.   I got a chance to look at a catalog & instead of just Marseille, Aren & my friends dog Charlie, there were 6 other Whippets entered!  It was like a specialty!  And none of us knew that the others would all be there.  Since Aren finished his title last week, I let him be absent today, but we still had 8 Whippets compete.  Luckily all 8 of them got qualifying scores and 5 of them (including Marseille) finished titles.

We were very lucky that there was a photographer there (that's rare for obedience/rally only trials) so we were able to get a group photo with all 8 Whippets and the judge.  Then we each had our individual pictures taken also.  I'm really looking forward to seeing all the pictures I've had taken in the last two weeks, and then figuring out how I'm going to use them in my ad for the Whippet News Annual!
