Boy, have I ever been spoiled!! We've been collecting qualifying scores & legs & new titles right and left. Today it was back to reality.

I thought today would be a good course plan for my little girls (Avery & Marseille) but I neglected to look at the total yardage for the course, so it was a much larger/longer course than I expected which changed the entire character of the course - from an agility course to a speed course. Needless to say, we didn't fare too well. Both the girls were out of the ribbons & Derby finished last in his stake also. I had not entered either Ruby or Zuli because of the judge so I was done before I even started. The field was sticky mud and it was COLD as well. Between equipment problems and hard to catch dogs, we ended up running out of daylight, so the trial had to be suspended at dark. We barely got the finals in and it was way too dark for run-offs, which were run on Sunday morning before Sunday's trial started. It was certainly not the most fun day I've ever had! In the end I was glad that my guys weren't tied for anything since I was not about to drive all the way back up there just to run off a tie!
