Slept until the dogs woke me this morning - relaxed in front of the computer until noon before I decided to get dressed.  Just trying to enjoy my last really free day between now and April 15th.

About the middle of the afternoon I took Zuli out for a tracking session.  We were by ourselves today as Kris had other things to occupy her.  I laid two tracks and Zuli didn't do particularly well on either of them.  The first one was a gentle curve to the left and at one point of the track she lost the scent and wandered around & started going backwards.  she finally seemed to pick up the track again & started forward again only to loose the track again at about the same place.  This time I  brought her back & re-started her in the right direction and she did finish the track in spite of the Goose Leavings that were scattered all over the place.  I won't go back there anytime soon!  We moved to a slightly different location for our second track, which was a straight track about 67 yards long & she had one spot at the edge of shade going into sun where she seemed to get lost for a bit, but she found it again & finished up nicely.  I have plenty of questions for our first tracking session on Sunday!
